Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez was born in Mexico. She is an American Mexican actress. Also, she sings. She was raised by her mom within the USA she was subject to a lot of racial taunts which gave her feeling of being a bit unpopular. After entering a ninth-grade school audition in which she received praises for her singing, she started to build confidence. This not only increased the confidence of her, but also changed the direction in which she went on to pursue her career. At the age of 22, she received her degree from at the Julliard School of New York. In 1993, she made her Broadway debut with Paul Simon's The Capeman. Her first film was You've Got Mail. The role in The Lad of The Lake was her most memorable break, earning her the Tony Award in addition to the acclaim of critics for her performance. In the following year, when she was Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy on ABC her role was given greater fame. A well-known performer, she has also recorded an album and a musical. In addition, she's an activist who works hard in the fight for LGBT rights.
