Ina-Garten

Ina Gardner is writer of a number of popular American cookery books. Ina also hosts Barefoot Contessa on Food Network. It began in 2002. Ina Garten started her professional career at the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy and budget papers. While she initially found the work interesting and stimulating however, she began to get bored. Barefoot Contessa was then bought. The store was very successful over the course of 18 years until she made the decision to close it. After that, she started her first cookbook. The other cookbooks came out, as were magazine articles. Between them the Food Network show was also a success. In addition, she sells everything from cooking equipment to supplies and containers. Ina did not go to a cooking institute and hasn't worked in restaurants. She's completely self-taught. Ina's easygoing style of entertaining and her straightforward cooking style are well known. Some of her most popular recipes include Skillet - Roasted Lemon Chicken Mac and cheese Mac, Beef Bourguignon and cheese, Beatty's Chocolate Cake, and Lemon Bars.
