David-Muir

David Muir (born August 25, 1949) is an American journalist, anchor and reporter. The most famous of his work is for his show World News Tonight. Its stunning video footage as well as the animated movements have made it the most seen newscast in America. Made In America was nominated for an Emmy. Before taking on ABC World News Tonight, he served as the primary reporter for his predecessor Diane Sawyer. In recent years he's covered a variety of ABC News primetime specials including Breaking Point Heroin in America. He has reported on news across the globe, including in Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti. He's been awarded numerous Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards along with distinctions and awards of The Associated Press.
