Apryl did not impress anyone on the panel and therefore was not picked. She was later met by a popular performer and joined tours as an assistant singer. Both decided to be part of the popular VH1 TV show Hollywood which made them one of the eight original cast members. The first season of the show, Megaa and her husband had a baby boy. The second season explores Megaa's struggles with her career and personal issues when she discovers new joys. Omarion, who was on tour when she recorded the reunion episode from season two, did not accompany Apryl. Apryl announced on the 7th of December, 2015. that Omarion as well as Apryl were off the show. Apryl was pregnant with their daughter, A'mei Kasuko Grandberry on March 7th, 2016. Apryl announced her breakup with Omarion within four months.
