Cassandra Monique Batie is an American R&B soul, R&B and song writer and singer. She also sings. She has won an Grammy Award as well as an Children's and Family Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award. She was also nominated to win the Academy Award. Andra Day, a talented musician and singer with a background in gospel and the blues, who also has a flair for modern times is a skilled performer and a talented composer. The debut of her album Cheers to The Autumn (2015) she climbed in to the Top Ten R&B/hip hop charts and received a handful of Grammy nods. In 2017 her performance on Marshall's score was acknowledged with the Academy Award. Amen (2018), the song Make Your Troubles go Away (2020) as well as Her Golden Globe winning portrayal of Billie Holiday (The United States in vs. Billie Holiday 2021) has all been a part of the anticipation of her next album. Andra is born Cassandra Monique Batie on Edmonds Washington. As a child living in San Diego and surrounding areas she started singing at worship and was enrolled in The School of Creative and Performing Arts. After she graduated from the school, she gravitated towards modern R&B and pop but found herself drawn back to jazz classics and soul singers she heard when she was young. Day eventually signed with Warner Bros. It was popular and was played on radio by many DJs. Later, she joined Warner Bros. Records and started work with the producer Adrian Gurvitz on her debut album, Cheers to the Autumn (2015). It featured the hit song"Rise Up," that was a popular song for social justice campaigns all over the world. Day was awarded the album two Grammy nominations for the album, including Best R&B Album. In 2019 she released her sophomore album The United States vs. Billie Holiday a concept album on the life of the legendary jazz singer. Also, she appeared in The United States vs. Billie Holiday, a film focused on Holiday. Andi Mattichak was an American actor. She first appeared in television shows such as 666 Park Avenue, Orange Is the New Black and Blue Bloods prior to making her feature film debut on the screen as Allyson Nelson on the horror film series Halloween and its sequels. Andi Matichak was an American actress, was born in Framingham Massachusetts on 3 May 1994.
