Cassandra Monique Batie, professionally known by the stage name Andra day is an American R&B singer-songwriter. Her awards include the Grammy Award, Children's and Family Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award are just a few of her many awards she's received. She has also been selected for the Academy Award. Andra Day, a gifted performer-songwriter whose roots are in gospel and the blues who has a flair for the modern world is a strong performer and an incredibly talented song-writer. Records and began working with producer Adrian Gurvitz to record her debut album, Cheers to the Autumn (2015). It featured the hit song Rise Up that became an the theme for movements to promote social justice around the world. Day received two Grammy nominations including Best R&B Album. In 2019, she debuted her second album The United States vs. Billie Holiday a concept album that tells the story of the legendary jazz vocalist. The same year, she was a part-time actress in a biopic of Holiday's life, The United States vs. Billie Holiday (2021). Andi Mattichak has a reputation as an American actor. She started her career on television shows like Orange Is the New Black as well as 666 Park Avenue and Blue Bloods.
