Cassandra Monique Batie known professionally as Andra Day is an American R&B and soul performer, actor and songwriter. It is said that the Grammy Award, Children's and Family Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award are among the many honors she's earned. She was also named for an Academy Award. Andra is not only the throwback R&B artist, her blues and gospel jazz roots perform in a manner that is both effortless and sophisticated. Her debut album entitled Cheers To the Autumn (2015) which was an immediate hit with the hiphop/R&B dance music genre. The album brought her a host of Grammy and Academy Award nominations. Stand Up for Something (2017) the contribution she made to Marshall's soundtrack, earned her both awards. Amen (2019) and Make Your Troubles Gone Away (2021) as well as a Golden Globe award-winning portrayal as Billie Holiday, in The United States Vs. Billie Holiday (2017) has helped create anticipation for the release of her sophomore album. Andra was born Cassandra Monique Batie on Edmonds Washington. Growing up in San Diego and surrounding areas her first performance was in worship and was enrolled in the School of Creative and Performing Arts. She gravitated towards modern R&B, pop and jazz when she graduated from high school, but ultimately, she was drawn to classic jazz and soul singers that she had heard of when she was young. Kai Millard Morris, who caught a live performance by Day and introduced her music to the husband of Stevie Wonder, became the most significant leap forward. The Motown legend then became acquainted Day with music industry veteran Adrian Gurvitz. Day's following on YouTube increased quickly after she joined forces along with Gurvitz, Jeffrey Evans and Buskin. In 2012, Day released her debut single Forever Mine. The album was released The United States Vs. Billie Holiday in 2019, which was a concept-based album on the life and career of the jazz icon Billie Holiday. In addition, she was a part of The United States vs. Billie Holiday, a film that tells the story of Holiday. Andi Matichak, an American actress. She began her career in television shows like Orange Is the New Black as well as 666 Park Avenue and Blue Bloods. Her debut in film was when she appeared as Allyson as Allyson in the supernatural film Halloween. Andi Mattichak was born on the 3rd of May, 1994 in Framingham Mass.
