Andra Day and Andi Matichak

Cassandra Monique Batie, professionally known as Andra day, is an American R&B artist and singer. She's the winner of several awards like a Grammy Award a Children's and Family Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award along with nominations for the Academy Award. Andra Day is an imposing artist and a talented songwriter. She does not just play throwback R&B expert. Her roots in gospel music and blues performed with ease and grace are carried into the modern day. Cheers to the Fall (2015) her eminent debut was a hit in the Top Ten of the R&B/hip-hop and paved the way for some Grammy nominations and an Academy Award nomination with Stand Up for Something (2017) her performance on the soundtrack to Marshall getting both honors. Her second album has grown with singles such as Amen (2018) along with Take Your Troubles Go Away (2020) and also a Golden Globe award-winning portrayal of Billie Holiday in The United States vs. Billie Holiday (2021). Andra Day is born Cassandra Monique Batie, in Edmonds Washington. She grew in San Diego and the metropolitan zone. There she sang at church, and then enrolled in the School of Creative and Performing Arts. When she left the college, she began to gravitate towards more contemporary R&B as well as pop music but found herself drawn back to the classic jazz and soul vocalists she was exposed to in her youth. An important break occurred when a performance of hers was discovered by Kai Millard Morris who subsequently took some of Day's music to her husband Stevie Wonder. In turn, the Motown legend connected Day to the music industry's veteran Adrian Gurvitz. Allied with Gurvitz and Jeffrey Evans' Buskin label Day gained a large YouTube fan base and then signed with major-label Warner Bros. n 2012 Day dropped her first single Forever Mine on YouTube. This song was immediately taken up and played in radio stations by a variety of DJs. The album she released her debut, Cheers to The Autumn (2015) was produced by the Adrian Gurvitz. She signed with Warner Bros. Records. The album featured the hit single Rise Up, which was a popular anti-social justice anthem all over the world. Day was nominated to win two Grammy Awards, including Best R&B Album. In 2019 she released her second studio album The United States vs. Billie Holiday a concept album about the life of the famous jazz musician. In the same year, she appeared in The United States Vs. Billie Holiday (2020), film about the life of Holiday. Andi Mattichak was an American actor. She first appeared in television programs like 666 Park Avenue, Orange Is the New Black and Blue Bloods before making her film debut on the screen as Allyson Nelson in the slasher film series Halloween as well as the sequels. Andi Matichak, an American actress born on 03 May 1994 in Framingham Massachusetts in the United State of America.
