Lisa Olivia Munn is a resident of Oklahoma City. The mother of her child, Kimberly Schmid, lived in Vietnam, and is of Chinese heritage, while her father, Winston Barrett Munn, is from a family with deep roots in the American South. Olivia was 2 years old when she was divorced from her parents. Her current family is run by her mom and stepfather. He's an United States Air Force soldier. Olivia was raised mostly in Tokyo in Japan. While her family had moved from Oklahoma to various other locations but it was the city of Tokyo where she got the bulk of her education. In that period, she was involved in many shows in the area as well as becoming a Japanese fashion model. When the family eventually returned back to the United States, Olivia moved to Los Angeles to pursue her ambition of becoming an actor. Following a handful of small performances, her career took a very promising turn when she was offered the character of Mily Acuna in Hawaii's lensed television series Beyond the Break (2006) as well as the part as Rob Schneider's receptionist on Big Stan (2007). She hosts "The Daily Nut", "Formula D" and "The Formula D Podcasts" on G4. The passion she has for surfing has been evident since the 2006 TV program Beyond the Break. Also, she has Black Belt in Taekwondo. At the age of two, her mom remarried. The second time, she got married to a US Air Force serviceman. The majority of her childhood was spent in Tokyo, Japan where her stepfather worked. She was a journalist at the University of Oklahoma and also studied Japanese, dramatic arts and acting.
